August 2021 Peruvian Desert

Updated: Nov 17, 2021

Hello Isaiah 58 ministries friends! As most of you know we have just returned from a mission trip to the deserts of Peru.

We wanted to take this opportunity to update you on the things that happened there and the amazing works of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Our prayer is that this blog finds you well, healthy, and blessed!

Mission (Prayer Power, in Jesus name) - This trip was probably the most "real mission" we've had!

From almost going to jail over ordinances that aré designed to keep you in one town/city/state durning covid (insane penalties such as jail time and vehicle confiscation) To hiding inside the church in laderas as the cops circled

From having the cameras turned off for altar call. To spending nights in the church so not to cross regional boundaries ( to not break the law)

From crossing the Andes mountains in necessity to evade troubles and maintain lawful entry into Lima - to witnessing the grace of God as widows cried at our visiting!

Would We do it again? Absolutely!

For Lorenzos (our driver) salvation As he received Christ after witnessing all - Yes

For all the people who came to Christ - Yes

For the 30 fed in another village - Yes

For the 5 who received Christ along with food and Supplies- Yes

For the widows hugs, tears- Yes

Through the rejection due to fear - Yes

The count approximately- 51 adults 52 including Lorenzo our driver - YES!!

Why? - JESUS IS WORTH IT!

Jesus kept us! Jesus blessed us!

EVERY time we prayed in the name of Jesus HE came through for us

He is faithful!! Our God is faithful!! glory to His name! He is our God!

We desire your prayers as we prepare to return to the jungle area of Peru to minister and share the gospel of Jesus Christ and as we embark on new ground in Columbia to reach the unreached and share with those who have never heard the name of Jesus Christ!

God has also opened the door for us to go deeper into the jungles of Peru, to reach those who have never had the gospel preached to them!

God bless you friends, and thank you for your support in keeping those God entrusted with, they need it more now than ever!
